4230 Raleigh Street Construction Update: Granite & Tile Work

The finishing touches are getting underway at 4230 Raleigh Street. It’s been moving so fast I’ve let a bit more time go between these last two posts. We’ve pushed our expected completion date back to May 25th. Only two weeks left and a good bit of work to do but I figured it was time for some photos.

The front porch is being framed out and the brick is done except for a bit of work on the south side and a final cleaning of the mortar.

The kitchen has really taken shape in the past week or so. We have the cabinet trim and granite counters in place. The backsplash, appliances, plumbing and lighting fixtures will be coming shortly.

The living room is pretty well finished up other than the fireplace surround, trim paint, and wood floor finishing.

The main floor bathroom is also coming along. Floor tile is done and the crew is working on the wall tile for the shower area.

Here’s a shot of the rear of the home. The back deck will be framed shortly and exterior paint won’t be far behind.

Looking back from the living room sliding doors to the garage. We’ll be adding a third off street parking space next to garage where the work van is currently parked.

Once the tile work is finished up I’ll get some additional interior shots posted. We’ll be hosting an open house for the First Friday Art Walk on Tennyson Street June 5th, from 5 to 8 pm. Look for a post dedicated to that here shortly.
